This Privacy Policy explains how Mog Off ("Mog Off," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Mog Off mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and the username and avatar you choose. Authentication is handled through Google Firebase.
Camera and photos. During a live match the App uses your device camera to detect and score your face in real time. In the Analysis feature you may take or upload a selfie. Camera frames used for the live on-device overlay are processed on your device.
Facial analysis data. To generate scores we may send a still image of your face to our third-party analysis provider (Face++, operated by Megvii). We also derive facial geometry (such as the position of your eyes and mouth) to draw the on-screen overlay and calculate scores.
Gameplay data. We store your scores, rank/ELO, match history, and related activity.
Device and usage data. We may collect basic technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic logs.
We use the information we collect to:
Mog Off uses face detection and analysis solely to generate entertainment scores and visual overlays. We do not use face data to identify you, and we do not sell face data.
On-device detection used for the live overlay runs locally through Google ML Kit and is not transmitted off your device. Still images submitted for scoring are sent to our analysis provider to compute a score and are not used to build a biometric identifier. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding biometric information; contact us to exercise them.
We share information only as needed to operate the App:

We keep your account and gameplay information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your account data from our systems. Images submitted for scoring are processed transiently and are not retained by us longer than necessary to generate your score. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Mog Off is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal information, contact us at support.MogOff@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is operated using service providers that may process and store information in countries other than your own. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these providers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App.
